Earlyears Lil’ Shopper Play Set Review

I’m not sure why I bought this as well as the Melissa and Doug picnic basket toy, but it’s of much less interest to my baby, because the sandwich which she so adores dismantling in that picnic basket has no equivalent in this toy, and that frustrates her – the cabbage can’t be dismantled etc. She does like the musical chiming…radish/carrot (not sure which it is!), and occasionally looks at other pieces, but in general it’s just less interesting to her.

I’m thinking of giving it away.

Consider the picnic basket instead. It also has an advantage over this toy because its parts are machine washable, and the parts of this toy are not. By the way, the criticisms I’ve read of M and D toys recently only seem to apply to their wooden toys (paint flaking etc) not these plush toys.

(I have no commercial affiliation with M and D)
